Example 1 - Not needed

Cartridge Filtration Housing Set

  • Simplistic in use with low maintenance

  • No complexities such as automation and instrumentation to calibrate and/or service regularly

  • Consumables purchased and changed out by site with minimal training required

  • Should issues occur a simple change out of consumables or a simple CIP can be completed to restore performance

Example 2 - Needed

Automated Ion Exchange or Filtration Plant

  • Operator training and refresher training usually required

  • Changing consumables requires deeper knowledge and procedures

  • Complexity with mechanical, electrical components and instrumentation that requires maintenance and/or calibration to remain accurate.

  • If process critical the above becomes even greater of a requirement (e.g - if the plant is used for sterile product)

  • Critical to run without issue and when a fault is detected it needs the quickest resolution to continue production
